’I’ve always had a passion for beautiful objects. Since I was seven years old, I remember standing mesmerised in front of a bold abstract painting in my mother’s house — the same piece that now hangs in my daughter’s playroom.
Life has taken me on many interesting twists and turns, but no matter where I found myself, I always returned to working with beautiful things: curating them, moving furniture to make a space feel "just right", or reimagining a room to tell a new story.
It’s hard to put an exact number on my years of experience because my journey has been wonderfully diverse. I’ve worked in art galleries, designed interiors, drawn up room layouts, and spent years art directing and set decorating for commercials. But one thing has stayed the same: I have always loved it.
Becoming a mother and raising my daughter has made me pause, reflect, and reshape my perspective. It reminded me of the importance of play — and that play is something we should never outgrow.
Today, I approach spaces with curiosity and care. I love to consider how they can become more functional, relevant to the lives and feet that move through them every day, and, most importantly, how they can feel truly right.
