Are you a occupational therapist and have children that you think can benefit from my service?
Collaboration with Occupational Therapists (5-Step Process) – Working hand-in-hand with OTs to make sure every space we design meets children’s unique needs.
Step 1 — Identification
A child or family is identified who would benefit from working with a designer to reimagine their space — whether it’s a playroom or a bedroom.
Step 2 — Collaboration
The occupational therapist provides insights into the child’s sensory, emotional, and functional needs, helping shape the design direction.
Step 3 — Explore the Space
The current room is assessed to understand its layout, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Step 4 — Zoning & Design Vision
Clear functional zones are planned — for reading, play, movement, and regulating — along with a design vision that balances aesthetics with the child’s unique needs.
Step 5 — Plan & Implementation
Families choose between a consultation-only plan or full design and setup, ensuring the space is transformed to meet both the child’s and parents goals.
